Sobre ajos y paciencia (II)

[07/07/2025] Y practicamente ocho meses después ya podemos recoger los ajos. Con la pala los hemos sacado bastante bien, en cuestión de una hora teníamos ya todos, ahora a secar durante unos días y ya podemos juzgar cómo han salido. Creo que los ajos mas gordos ha venido algun avispado y se los llevó antes de recoger nosotros, pero bueno la verdad que mala pinta no tienen.

Practicamente en este tiempo no hemos hecho nada, algún día suelto ir a quitar las malas hierbas pero poco, yo creo que el año que viene volvemos a plantar junto con cebollas que el ratio esfuerzo beneficio es bastante bueno.

Le tengo que proponer un trueque a un compañero de trabajo que tiene abejas, para impulsar la economía circular.

On Garlic and Patience

[07/07/2025] Almost exactly eight months later, we can now harvest the garlic. We managed to dig them up quite well with the shovel; in about an hour, we had them all. Now, we'll dry them for a few days, and then we can judge how they turned out. I think someone clever might have taken the biggest garlic bulbs before we harvested them, but honestly, they don't look bad at all.

We've barely done anything during this time, just a few sporadic days of weeding, but not much else. I think next year we'll plant garlic again, along with onions, because the effort-to-benefit ratio is quite good.

I need to propose a trade to a coworker who has bees to boost the circular economy.
